My name is Joao Paulo and I am from Madeira Island.
I have created this blog in order to have some feedback on a Module of my Master.
For now, I have some ideas about what I will post and provide to the possible viewers.
Probably I am going to focus on art and tourism. I like to write novels and poems and I also have a band in my hometown. My degree in Portugal is in Cultural Studies.
This is an image of my Island which is a famous touristic destination.
This Master is very interesting and I believe is reflecting about several issues about the actual world and its cultural dynamics.
This is a small village in Madeira called Camara de Lobos. Winston Churchill used to go there to rest and paint. It is a good example of non-static preservation where we can find old traditions and rituals mixed with the touristic phenomenon and globalization.
This post is just working as a test for further posts.
